Strategy and Tips for Winning at Pool Rummy
Pool Rummy is not just a game of luck — strategy, focus, and planning matter just as much. Here are some practical tips from experienced bjaff players:
- From the start, focus on building a Pure Sequence — it is essential for making a declaration.
- Discard high-value cards (J, Q, K, A) early if they are unlikely to fit into a Set.
- Watch your opponents' discard pile — it gives you an idea of what cards they hold.
- Use Joker cards wisely — save them for the most difficult sequence you need to complete.
- Stay calm; do not rush your declaration — wait until your hand is fully ready.
